I Putu Duita, Member of Commission A of DPRD Jembrana, said that this is known when monitoring to the school located in Pariwis, Pekutatan Sub-district, on Saturday (06/23/2017).
"Entry requirement to SMKN 5 should not be tattooed and it turns out to check the tattoo should be naked," he said, Thursday (29/06/2017).
Besides not tattooed, prospective male students also should not punch the ears (pierced).
For prospective male students also set a minimum requirement of 155 cm and 150 cm for female students.
Things he thinks are too much.
Should not prospective students and girls are required to undress and pants to find out whether there is a tattoo on the body or not.
"You do not have to open your shirt and pants, which is important tattoo is not seen when wearing clothes or invisible tattoo," said Duita.
He also objected because the process of examination of tattoos and piercings done by parties who are considered not competent, for example by doctors.
Especially for piercing for example there are some beliefs in Bali using earrings because of beliefs.
He thinks the school mistakenly apply the rules as stated in the Minister of Education regulation number 17 of 2017.
In this regulation schools are given the authority to make special regulations for the admission of vocational school students.
According to him this rule seems to only lead students to become tourism workers.
Whereas vocational schools should lead students into tourism entrepreneurs.
"Maybe the goal is good but the way is not right, it does not have to open the shirt and pants," said Duita.
Meanwhile, principal SMKN 5 Tourism Jembrana I Gusti Ngurah Sudana denied that prospective students are required to open clothes and pants until naked in the selection process.
"Not true until naked, just see his back and pants only opened around the belt," said Sudana, when contacted on Thursday (06/29/2010).
According to him, according to the rules in the school, both prospective students are not allowed tattoo so it needs to be checked first.
In the process of self-examination conducted by local teachers with supervision of school intranet organizations (OSIS).
Prospective male students are examined by male teachers, as well as prospective female students being examined by female teachers.
