Donated Bodies Are Making Millions In Trade
If you are feeling generous and want to donate your body to science, more than likely your body will be auctioned off and make some company very rich!
They are called the "Body Brokers," I see a movie or story made from just this title! The tissue and transplant industry is closely regulated, it is illegal to sell tendons and body organs. However, there is no federal law regulating the sale of cadavers or body parts for the use of research and education. In fact just about anyone can get in the business without any kind of experience.
Death is expensive, especially burials. There are companies praying on grieving families and loved ones that live from pay check to pay check and cannot afford to bury or cremate their loved ones. Southern Nevada Corner Service is one such company. When searching for cadavers the body broker companies leave well crafted brochures at funeral homes and hospitals and use online advertising. A person can give permission to the company before death to use their body or a close relative can sign documents donating the body of their loved one to one of these body broker companies.
This reminds me of the stories that came out from undercover journalist and the sale of aborted baby parts. If you think the world has evolved from eating humans and using humans for rituals you are wrong. Science is just another religion and we make offerings to the science gods for blessings and profits just like the Aztec sold the bodies of their sacrificial victims for meat at the local temple meat markets

"Body Brokers" If this persons stay live it will be terrible scene. How will we value our body. Cant give valuable measure to life. Its more valuable to humans. Death is expensive and massive.

@madushanka, kind of goes with my paintings and articles regarding skulls, fall, and Halloween. I keep hearing our cultures are evolving and better off than humans in our distant religious past when we sacrificed humans and animals to the gods for spiritual favors and wealth. I keep noticing we humans haven't changed much...

Now you do know and if you have some awful rare disease and or rare genetic disorder that makes your body weird looking your body will fetch a higher price. The study of disease and dead bodies is allopathic medicines focus rather than the study of healthy live bodies and living a healthy good life. Thank you @blazing.

Why can't we make that profit or at least some of the profit when we die and leave the money we get from selling our body the money we get from selling our body to our favorite charity or loved ones?

You are welcome @boyelleq, there is a never ending supply of cheap donated bodies. The overhead has to do with storage but there is no regulations required for keeping storage areas clean of communicable diseases and you can dump human left over body parts in the garbage or wash them down the drain.

The truth is only hidden because it is kinda gross and no one wants to look at what happens after one dies. :P

When I am dead my body will go to medical faculty! Few months ago I already signed the deal! (My wife strongly argued against it)
But this story is something very nasty for me! Selling body parts :D Now people sell everything! I don't know what happened to them!
Anyway we all die! Everyday morning I reminds it and then say not today! I have a lot to do and have a child to show the correct path of living.

There is a bunch of hoops the body brokers have to jump through when rounding up dead bodies to make sure the body is released properly so the hospital and state won't be sued for wrongful death....
I do not see anything wrong in this body auction. These all are the benefit for the human race. Science is much far away than our religion, myths and belief system.
Just like the God from the East my next article will be about science that can do no wrong!
