Internet connection has been activated across the country

Internet connection has been activated by changing the first submarine cable (SMW-4) Repeater deep in the Bay of Bengal. There was no longer any restriction on the internet connection with the cable after the Repeater changes were completed on Sunday morning.

The fault is in the second repeater in the deep sea, 105 kilometers away from Cottage Landlery landing station of Cox's Bazar. Repeater changes to work on Oct 24 last night from 12:30 pm. It was extended till October 27, but it was extended till 9 pm 59 minutes on 29 October.

These days, in Patuakhali the second submarine cable and import-based bandwidth provided the internet service of the country. In the last few days, the internet connection in the country was a bit slow. This resulted in a lot of problems in online work.
