    The British Colonial Government in India formally bans Sati rituals. Sati ritual is a Hindu ritual in the form of a widow who has been abandoned by her husband to burn himself.     The British warship, HMS Nelson, was exposed to a sea mine set up by German troops in waters near Scotland. It caused HMS Nelson to be severely damaged and must be repaired for a long time, ie until August 1940.
