going on the third day of the hunger strike in the capital's Central Shaheed Minar demanding the removal of discrimination on the pay scale. The number of teachers is also increasing.
The program started in the capital's Central Shaheed Minar on Saturday from 10am on Saturday, calling for Bangladesh Primary Assistant Teacher Grand Alliance. 8 organizations of assistant teachers took part in this program. The leaders of the organization have declared that they will continue hunger until the demand is realized.
Mohammad Shamsuddin, one of the leaders of the movement's primary primary school teacher, said in the light of the fact that up to 40 teachers have been sick till date. Of them, 17 were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Some of them have been treated at private hospitals. He said his movement will continue till the demand is met.
