Japan's world's oldest woman Navi Tajima died at the age of 117.
The old woman died on Saturday in the south-western Kikaijima island hospital. The Kyodo News Agency said in the news.
Nazi Tajima was undergoing treatment at the hospital since January.
Just seven months before the death of Violent Brown, Jamaica, he was the world's oldest man. He was also 117 years old.
Tajim was born on August 4, 1900. His family has more than 160 members, including children and grandchildren.
