Here at Steemit Bali HQ more and more people are coming every day to learn the many intricacies of Steemit and get involved in our daily discussion groups.
Today, I recored a total of six tutorial videos for two newcomers who sat at my side. The following subjects were covered in detail as 10 min films:
Setting up your profile for the first time
Understanding all the different tabs on the main page
Understanding how the Steemit wallet works with its Steem, SBD & Steem Power. We also cover how to transfer the steem out into Bittrex, the trading site where you can turn your Steem into Bitcoin.
Effective post promotion with steemit.chat
Post-promotion with Discord
The Curation Guild and how they can help you when all hope appears lost!
Part 1 (effective postpromotion with steemit.chat) is currently being uploaded to YouTube and will be released tomorrow in the @steemtutorials account.
The Drive to dub these films into Indonesian
Here in Bali I have experienced a massive demand for more detailed tutorials on the many mysteries of Steemit, not just from the ex-pats but also from the local people, excited about this new way for them to make money.... potentially more money than they have ever made in their lives!
I have just employed an Indonesian Voice Over artist who is going to help me dub the films into Indonesian.
I have noticed that many of the Indonesian community post in their native language so the only thing stopping Steemit from exploding in this country is the lack of knowledge.
My current Steemit Tutorials YouTube page is for English speakers only, but an Indonesian equivalent will be created now to facilitate the growth of Steemit across this region of the world.
What's next?
If we can do Indonesian versions, why not French, Spanish and more...
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We will soon need a variety international volunteers from the Steemit community who have a good understanding of English and are willing to record the spoken English in each film into their native tongue. This can be done without having to leave their own home.
To express our gratitude we will offer these volunteers the opportunity to announce each new tutorial through their own account, giving them the opportunity to make good pay-out rewards from the ongoing films we will be making, helping empower the lives of their fellow citizens.
It is my intention to not only boost the growth of Steemit with this initiative but also to improve the lives of potentially millions of people all over the world.
It seems to me that there can be no higher calling than this.

steemit is indeed a fast growing community....and the demand of knowing and understanding what this is, is overwhelming. I suggest we understand also how crytocurrency works and the bots as well. Steemit is not only Steemit, there are so many apps and websites outside of it which plays an important role or function in the Steemit platform.
I completely agree with you. There are other lessons which must also be taught. And once I have the basics of steemit have been covered, I will seek to achieve coverage of the bigger picture. Many thanks for your useful comment.

Hahaha not great, still way ahead of you brother, I've been recruiting some "real" Thais about Steemit in general already and their interest will now have the added attraction of a paying STEEM job out the gate as a translator. Feels good to be in service.

Thanks for your optimistic 'Awesome'! It is easy to support the locals here when by doing so you can see in one month how their lives and the lives of those around them are going to be different forever now, because of Steemit.
Take @baligirl for example, a neighbour of mine who we recently guided onto Steemit at the age of 16 and she has already made more than money than her father this month! With just 3 posts! It's really awesome to see :)

This is awesome! It would surely help with transitioning into the community. I can say from experience it was a struggle getting to know the ins and outs (still in the process) but with this initiative, it would make people more likely to sign up and stay as they can focus on creating their content and finding other similar content writers. Can't wait to see where this goes :)
