During the week, 47-year-old twin brothers working in schools in Northern California, were arrested on charges of possession of child pornography, according to the police district of San Jose.
Clifford Pappadakis, a former track coach at Willow Glen Middle School, surrendered to authorities on Valentine's Day after he was spotted taking pictures of girls in bikinis.
His brother, Clinton, until recently the track and field coach at Oak Grove High School, was arrested a week after police found child porn on multiple owned devices.
"One of the signals came from NCMEC (national search center for missing and exploited children). — USA.one), the other — from parents," — said SF Gate officer of the police Department of San Jose Gina Tepoorten.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, the investigation began in September 2017. According to court documents, Clinton Pappadakis sometimes arranged for students training runs on rough terrain, "September 7, one of the parents was concerned that the coach was taking pictures of girls from behind". The police checked the teacher's computer and"found many inappropriate images at his disposal".
"We are disappointed," said Chris D. Funk, superintendent of East Side Union High School District,"as we expect our employees to be professional and ethical in dealing with students, other employees and the community."
It is noteworthy that the arrests are not related to each other.
Both brothers were dismissed and will stand trial in March 2018.
