State of the Sndbox is a weekly newsletter that provides the latest in Sndbox activities, introduces the newest members and projects, and provides the best resources in creative empowerment for the Steemit community. To get up-to-date on all of our development throughout the week, be sure to follow us @Sndbox.
This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 8th State of the Sndbox newsletter! So far this week, we’ve reported back on our presentation at The Artist Co-op, released another Toolkit post on the basics of Crypto and Blockchain terminology, and published the first iteration of our Sndbox Master Toolkit which compiles all of our resources and updates.
For a more thorough breakdown of what our members have been up to, be sure to go through our weekly Upvotes of the Week post that we publish each Monday.
Public Sndbox Activities
The presentation at New York’s first performance art-focused coworking space was a significant step for us to introduce and integrate Steemit into the practices of diverse creative professionals.
Our two-pronged strategy is to convert professionals into our Steemit community through Sndbox’s outreach and programming. We provide the tools, resources, and links to experienced Steemians so they can hit the ground running and leverage Steemit for their own practices.
We’ve gotten a great deal of feedback thus far that these in-person events are very helpful to build trust for those diving into the technology for the first time. We at Sndbox will be committing ourselves to more empowering presentations and activities such as this in the months to come.
Steemit Community Challenges
Last week we announced the very first of our Sndbox Challenges- post templates designed to help Steemians share their experiences with others and promote communal activities. We received a wide array of high-level entries from both Sndbox members and Steemians alike.
The challenge this past week was answering the prompt: What is Your Favorite Place of Inspiration? Be sure to check out the posts by the following authors:

What to Look Out For This Week
Tomorrow, we’ll answer one of the biggest questions as being part of the Steemit community, “What is a Witness?” We’ll cover the social and technical responsibilities held and executed by witnesses on Steemit.
Friday, we’ll be hosting another fun competition for all Steemians to participate in! We won’t spoil anything now but it will require a bit of your ingenuity concerning Steemit celebrities… We will also be attending a food drive for victims of Hurricane Irma at our coworking office 100 Bogart with supplies purchased with Steem Dollars.

@sndbox At what point do you think you guys will reach "critical mass?" I love the idea of what you're doing, and like @minnowsupport, it will be great for the community, but with such a limited scope of creators, it will be a while until you have a diverse offering.
For example, as someone that posts strictly about video games, me commenting on a Sndbox member's post about the current state of the blockchain might be a bit of stretch. I'd be posting simply to get their attention - not out of sincere interest.
Are you guys making any outward efforts to integrate members that offer a wide variety of topics, or are you just hoping for that diversity to occur organically?
Fine job sir @sndbox, for steemian community this form provide many facilities and guideline on "State of the Sndbox "NYC Presentations, Community Challenges, New Members, and Tutorials],. Thanks a lot for that, up vote and resteeming .
