Interesting how the shadow on the earth doesn't correlate with the shadows caused by the landing buggy and surrounding rocks. At the risk of being called a conspiracie nut ,something doesn't add up about the moon landing and why in 47 years we have never been back. would be intersting to hear what other think of this. Interesting post .
It was amazing. (I was a teenager at the time.) The whole world watched the early launches. They would cancel classes to let us all watch. I would stay up all night watching events live. Then, after a few landings it was, "ho hum" Nobody paid much attention after Apollo 13 and they wound up canceling the last two launches due to lack of interest (and perhaps they had planned to lose a couple missions) - when they didn't they just "got done early."
The program was a victim of its own success.
