Copying/Pasting full texts without adding anything original is frowned upon by the community.
Some tips to share content and add value:
- Using a few sentences from your source in “quotes.” Use HTML tags or Markdown.
- Linking to your source.
- Include your own original thoughts and ideas on what you have shared.
Repeated copy/paste posts could be considered spam. Spam is discouraged by the community, and may result in action from the cheetah bot.
If you are actually the original author, please do reply to let us know!
Thank You!

As far as I can see there is no rule against posting news content from other sources that you think would be interesting to the community (especially when you provide a link to the source, which I always do). From Steem's own FAQs:
"Steem is an open platform meant to host and welcome any legal content. Users can post anything they want, whether it be phrases, quotes, blogs, anecdotes, photos, videos, memes, songs, and more. Be creative!"
If I am mistaken about the rules please let me know.
Copying the whole article doesn't fall under 'fair use' of copyright law and does not give the reader a reason to visit the site where it is (we presume) published by the author.

We also suggest adding some original insight or comments to add value to the post. It starts a conversation, gets readers interested in following you, and prevents it from becoming spam when multiple people post the same news articles.
