Americans Say No To Taxing Olympians

That was funny... and sad. What they are basically saying is: "These people had a sudden windfall due to the enormous expenditure of time and effort they put into their chosen sport; therefore the State should force them under veiled threat of violence to hand over a percentage of it."

It's like getting mugged in the street and then having the mugger buy ice cream cones for everyone else. Everyone likes the ice cream so you decide that getting mugged once in a while isn't that bad, in fact, it's your duty! And the more victims the mugger has - the more choices of flavors, sprinkles, and scoop size.
