The big companies will use their lawyers to fight any threats to their business. I want to see the artists get rewarded, but people seem less inclined to pay for music, especially if technology gives them alternative ways to get it. No doubt other services will spring up if there is money to be made via ads. There are also likely to be some sites carrying malware.

The music industry has to become more internet friendly. Suing your clients isn't the best way to run a successful business. Many industries embraced the web like the gaming, film, even the porn industry. Not to mention that the artists are the ones who are left behind.
Savefrom is a site ive known for years now, just now hearing of this youtubemp3 site.
And yes, big companies will use their power to shut down sites, but when it comes to artist rights and all, they seem to develope cold feet.
we deal with humans and unfortunately , humans like going against the authority figures. They killed one, but the project creators are just gonna expand and create several clones.
I have used something like this a few times, but I'll pay for music I really want.
