Finally something really good coming from the Catholic Church
Pope Francis had a private conversation with a guy named Juan Carlos Cruz, a victim of sexual abuse and apparently that's when he gave this awesome statement.
"God made you like this and loves you like this and I don’t care. The pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are."
Since this came out the Catholic Church didn't confirm or deny that statement but judging from how open minded this Pope has been, I tend to believe it.

I disagree on many things with Pope Francis (no religion here) but he is definitely the first Pope I've ever liked and how great is it that he is trying to change the Catholic Church for the better. Hopefully all the other Christian Churches will follow this good example.
Personally I never understood people who claim to love God and want to do good things but then they discriminate the LGBTQ+ community. Didn't God teach you to love one another? Discrimination is like one of the worst things you can do and so many Christians are so OK with it, that's so unbelievable to me. You know, nobody is trying to stop you from reading your book or go to church so please stop trying to control and ruin other people's lives.

Homosexuality is contrary to the will of God.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NIV) Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders {10} nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. {11} And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
You can't be a practicing homosexual and a saved Christian.
I have nothing against homosexuals. I just disapprove of their lifestyle. And so many of them are very intolerant of me and my views. I couldn't care less if they approved of my heterosexuality but for some reason they demand that I approve of their homosexual lifestyle. They get really mad when you tell them it's wrong because deep down in their hearts they know it's wrong too.
For the sick of argument let's assume that your God is real. Now, have you ever thought that parts of the Bible people read today might be wrong? Might not be written by your God but later corrupted by church people?
Anyway I assume that you won't take that so all I really want to say is I'm OK if you disagree with gay people lifestyle, I'm even OK if you hate them but I really hope that you are not that kind of Christian who want to take rights away from them because that's not cool...
There isn´t a homosexual lifestyle. In spite of stereotypes, lifestyles of homosexual people are as diverse as heterosexual.
Nobody wants you to approve their lifestyle, just respect them. And respect also includes don´t judge private life of other people unless they ask your opinion, and don´t try to restrict any rights, including expression and marriage.
This is really enlightening news.
