The tongue is not the strongest muscle in the body though :O
I mean it is not even a single muscle but 8 different ones that are just strongly connected. And each one of them is pretty weak too.
If by "strong" you mean brute force, its basically the bigger, the better, and the tongue loses there pretty badly to other muscles. And if by "strong" you mean functionallity, than each muscle on the tongue still can only do little action by themselves, its just the combination of the muscles that makes it "strong" other muscles have just as much functionallity.
To be hones I don't even know how this myth spread so much 🤔
