Synereo is a cryptocurrency & network that was the first stated social media platform powered by blockchain. It however, was outpaced by Steem/Steemit to the market, and so we haven't seen any use of the platform yet as a service to users.
Now, WildSpark is set to be the platform that will be the first to utilize Synereo AMP as a social media system, allowing an alternative to Steemit, and perhaps something that would work complimentary with Steemit.
Looks interesting, but only signup option is gmail?
For now, it's more like a mailing list I believe to get notified and invite code when they launch beta

Yea I think its a 3rd party development but maybe connected to the main synereo dev team -- not completely sure
It sounds like the MySpace of blockchain social media. Like it was one of the original ideas, but it was replaced by Steemit, kinda like Facebook replaced MySpace.
Only time will tell ^_^
