Hannes Halldorsson, the director of this film, is also the goalkeeper of Icelandic World cup football team. He's the man who stood in front of the goal when Lionel Messi, one of the greatest footballers of all time was on the penalty spot. That penalty, if converted, might probably be a game winner. And as we know, Lionel Messi missed the penalty, and I would rather say, Halldorsson saved the penalty. Argentina was held 1-1 vs Iceland in their first group stage match of 2018 FIFA World Cup Finals.
Halldorsson was player the match and speaking about the film, this new Coke ad shows no lack of filming professionalism by the Icelandic goalkeeper as well. It is so rhythmic and inspiring.

What makes this Icelandic Footbal Team so special?:
- They are the smallest nation ever to play in a World Cup finals.
- They are the debutants
- 5 of them are Doctors, their goalkeeper is a Film-Director and their Manager is a Dentist
And still, the mighty Argentina could not defeat Iceland.
BBC made a rating report after the game and all the Iceland players rated above highest-ranked Argentine.
Here's the rating
Iceland is often well known for its large glaciers, active volcanoes and the Aurora Borealis.
Maybe after this summer, they will have their national football team on that list.
Good luck!
