Chase Bank CEO Jamie Dimon Declines Trump's Offer To Be Treasury Secretary

in #news8 years ago (edited)

President Elect Donald Trump and his transition team have been trying to get the top executive branch positions filled before he is sworn into office. His top pick for the position of Treasury Secretary was Jamie Dimon, the chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase.

Unfortunately for the Donald, the bankster elite Dimon told him no thanks, and the rumor is that his reason for declining was that he didn't feel capable of serving in that position. Dimon will continue to run the nation's largest bank, which currently has a 276.44 billion market cap and 2.52 trillion in total assets.

This attempted appointment is just further proof that Trump is NOT anti-establishment. When it comes to the banking elite, no one is more "establishment" than Jamie Dimon, and the fact that Trump wanted him shows what a puppet show this election has been. My prediction is that the banking elite and the military industrial complex will thrive under a Trump presidency, just like any other presidency. I hope that Trump supporters will wake up and smell the coffee after hearing this news.

Great to hear someone feeling positive! Trump's presidency has yet to begin. So I hope that the idea of giving the man a chance will grow some legs. Thank you @thefinanceguy - the world needs a strong and upright USA.
