I think part of the reason that Starbucks' coffee has higher levels of carcinogens is because they burn the beans. And they're proud of it! It's so you have a consistent taste. No wonder I didn't like coffee when I was growing up. If they're burning the beans, it's not going to taste as good. Consistency over quality.
