It's so true. There is no money in curing, they would rather have you come in as often as possible, taking as many drugs as possible and doing as many expensive procedures are possible. My dad recently had some cancer go into remission or disappear altogether and the doctor still asked him if he wanted to go through chemo anyways. I asked him if he punched the doctor in the face.
