It seems as though you agree with the official version that the Syrian regime is killing innocents, whereas Kevork Almassian states precisely the oppposite.
The Syrian regime is fighting to retain its sovereignty as a nation, and as a secular nation at that.
Wherever the US had deposed heads of state in the middle east under the pretext of punishing them for crimes against humanity (which rightfully should be done in the international court of justice), the vacuum has been filled by the Islamist state and its attending sharia law.
So much for the US « war on terror ».
Saying that the Syrian regime kills innnocent people is about as true as saying that the Trump government kills its citizen (and there is just about the same amount of evidence).
Just wanted to set the record straight but maybe I just misunderstood your statement.
