There was a fake news story on one of those notorious fake news pretending to be real news websites that Louis Head was indicted for riot provocation because of this. I can assure you that absolutely did not happen. I think the reason it didn't happen was because the cops are to this day (March 16, 2018) still trying to solve the case the murder of a young man during the second round of rioting post-grand jury decision (what Mr. Head here helped provoke), the young man just happened to testify in front of the grand jury which issued no true bill against Darren Wilson. I have heard, semi-credibly, that the cops think that Louis Head knows something about who did it, and the cops are putting the squeeze on him using a potential riot provocation charge in order to get him to bust open his pinata and spill the goodies. Unfortunately, after all this time, it may be the case that he never knew anything.

Another late development is that at last year's SXSW, there was a documentary about this whole saga which stated that the GENTILIVUS GIANTIVUS was actually a small time local weed dealer who had an informal arrangement with the owner of the Ferguson Market, in that he could come in at any time and take a reasonable amount of merchandise, in exchange for him being the Ferguson Market owner's weed hookup. On the fateful late Saturday morning when he "stole" the Swishers from the F/M, it was only a matter of the clerk on duty not being aware of that "arrangement," so he called the cops. This was supposed to be a revelation that made the Ferguson PD look bad, but all it did in reality was expose GENTILIVUS GIANTIVUS as a small time local weed dealer. Which is why the media quickly dropped the matter after making a big deal of it.
