Democrat politicians want illegals because it helps to keep them in power. Anyone who says that illegals do not participate in elections is fooling themselves. Why do you think there is such resistance to Voter ID laws from Democrats?
On the other side of the aisle, the Republican Establishment (GOPe) wants illegals because the politicians want to keep receiving bribes in the form of campaign donations from the cheap-labor lobby. They also believe that if they never discuss anything on immigration enforcement, then perhaps they will be looked upon more favorably by the Hispanic community. The GOPe is too dumb to remember that Ronald Reagan granted amnesty back in the 80s and the GOP did not benefit from that.
So there you have it. What the Democrats and the GOPe want is the status quo. Meanwhile we have millions of unemployed and ordinary Americans furious at the numbers of illegals flowing across the border. This anger comes from all races of Americans. I have met Black, Hispanic, Asian and Indian voters who have never voted GOP before, but voted for Trump because they too are sick and tired of the whole thing.
To discourage illegals coming here the US must:
- End all welfare for illegals. No Social Security. No assistance for low-income families, etc.
- Utilize E-Verify to ensure that the worker can legally work in the US.
- Severe financial penalties to companies that do hire illegals.
- End all Federal funding for Sanctuary Cities and States. Will the GOPe in control of Congress go along with this, or will they receive heavy pressure from their cheap-labor lobby friends?
- Any nation not willing to take back its citizens should never receive Foreign Aid again.
- Build the wall.
