CME Bitcoin futures hit an all-time-high
A recent report by Messari has stated that trading volume for BTC futures keeps rising despite crypto winter. Since April 2th, there were a sudden surge of trading volume and it kept continue to rise till April 4th. Additionally, CME reported that there were more 22,500 contracts have been traded on April 4th (appox 122,700 BTCs). However, the volume has been declining since then.
After Amun AG, XRP and LTC ETPs is now live on Nordic Growth Market
In a recent announcement, Nordic Growth Market, a subsidiary of Borse Stuttgart exchange has launched XRP and LTC ETPs. Additionally, there are four ETPs available to investors: 2 for XRP and 2 for LTC.
South Korea is considering to revise current crypto regulations
The local media outlet ZDNet Korea has reported that the South Korea government is re-evaluating crypto regulations to support the growth of the market. Furthermore, Song Hee-Kyong, co-president of the 4th Industry Forum of the National Assembly believes that South Korea government has misjudged crypto which causes various problems. Therefore, it a must for South Korea to reform the current regulations for cryptocurrencies.
G20 to prevent crypto money laundering
Reported by Kyodo, the local news outlet, G20 member countries will meet to discuss international crypto AML from July 8th - 9th. According to the report, the countries are expecting to meet the consensus to oppose the anonymity of crypto. Additionally, to keep the asset flow transparent, the organization aims to create a stricter individuals identification, thus enhancing the clarity of transactions.
