Hi Mike, this Assange thing is fascinating. This poor guy, who should be given a Nobel Peace Prize, has been stuck in the Ecuadoran embassy in London for a long time now. While Rafael Correa is lefty with a lot to be desired, he gets points for loyalty. He was able to protect himself from US intentions because of info he got from Julian and has protected Julian ever since.
But, here's the weird part. If Ecuador were truly rogue, truly independent, truly wanted to put a pencil into America's eye, why are they still using the US dollar?

Good questions and your questions underline a complicated situation.
There are many things going on everyday that I just shake my head and wonder when common sense died. This is just a way of saying I am confused everyday about what goes on.
Politics is foreign to me because I am straight-forward, say what I mean, do what I say kind of person which is the antithesis of politics.
While I do not understand everything going on, I do have an independent mind and critically think through the news of the day. This is why I appreciate all points of view to test my understanding of an issue.
Have a great weekend!
Steem on,
Mike
