As many lament the bygone days of the Golden Age of the Internet, in this video I predict a rocket into the Platinum Age of the Internet.
Murray Rothbard used to describe natural monopoly as a business that has an innovative edge or technological advantage over other businesses. A natural monopoly lasts until it becomes either a.) a state monopoly, where the government gives specific license to that business for the services it does, and punishes others that try to compete with that business, or b.) the rest of the market catches up and begins competing, in which case the monopoly falls away.
Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter are ending the their natural monopoly phase. As they panic to grasp state monopolies, decentralized platforms and technologies are already beginning to replace them. Blockchain backed alternatives like Steemit, DTube, and Bitchute are going to annihilate the big players now when big media heads begin moving to these alternatives after they keep getting censored.

Ahmen brother! I have been telling people this for too long. On traditional platforms the users create the value by creating the content. On Steemit we create the value and also earn from it. Great video and don't forget to try @dlive as well. You can post recorded video's as well as live ones.

Lmao. Yeah there are a few differences. As of right now Dtube gets more video's posted to it than Dlive does (more competition). Dtube also has more traffic (viewers). Dlive however has the ability to stream videos live as well as posting recorded videos. Dlive doesn't take a service fee like the 25% that Dtube does (from your post payout). The best benefit is @dlive might enjoy your post and upvote it. One of my friends who was live streaming video games got a $40 upvote from the Dlive account which has been delegated millions of SP from the Steemit main account.
