China and DPRK have walked away winners from the Trump-Kim summit

I am really not sure what has this Trump-Kim summit brought about? People, including the extremist left media seem mute. CNN seems very cautious in reporting and only says "we don't know yet of any concrete plans for denuclearization". NYTimes seems even more mute. The fact is North Korea is nuclear and it has missiles that can reach the US. This is a given. Trump says he's doing peace because of 30m South Koreans and others who may die if a war breaks out. But I believe the US is simply too worried about itself as the DPRK has demonstrated capabilty to hit the US mainland and that the US is unwilling to take on it using its "advanced missile defence" when they fired more than three ICBMs in a test over Japan as US had threatened it will do. This shows US missile defence weakness. They themselves are worried one in three may not be taken down and DPRK and China will know US missile defence has a failure rate. After knowing this Kim comes for a summit, gets royal treatment, gets paid for his stay and food, leaves home with so much video footage to show his people how great a "marshal" he's. And Trump stands there saying "oh I don't know if the de-nuclearization will fail in six months but I will come up with some excuse if it does". Seriously? And all media think it is a joke not worth reporting about?? Missile and nuclear test sites being taken down by NK is immaterial now. If they have even 10 missiles that can reach the US, they can make 20 more and fit them with nuclear warheads without testing any. The only thing that matters is the DPRK allowing nuclear inspectors in and getting verified they are destroying all nuclear fissile material. Even this is not 100% safe as they can easily procure some material from China or Pakistan if need be. And Trump is getting away with his showmanship because all of US media is afraid of taking on him now as most Americans won't understand some high level analysis of what has really happened: Kim Jong Un outclassed, and outplayed the US so well. Got recognition, a free tour of Singapore, and goes home like a hero!
