Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have officially been named the presidential candidate for their parties, we figured this would be a good time to see how popular they each were based on Pornhub searches. Both Trump and Clinton have been the subject of numerous porn parodies, so we’ve seen searches increase for both candidates as the election cycle has ramped up. Overall, Trump beats out Clinton across the board. Search terms containing “Trump” are searched 144% more often than those containing “Clinton”. When it comes to genders we found that women search Trump 1704% more than Clinton, and men search Trump 118% more than Clinton. However, if we compare the genders to each other, men are 556% more likely to search for Clinton compared to women, and women are 26% more likely to search for Trump when compared to men.
Pornhub visitors in the 18 to 24 age group are 92% more likely to search for Trump when compared to all other age groups. They are also 61% more likely to search for Clinton compared to other ages, along with people in the 45 to 54 age group who are 62% more likely.
When compared to other states, Trump is proportionally searched more often by Pornhub visitors from Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Massachusetts.
When compared to other states, Clinton is proportionally searched more often by Pornhub visitors from Wyoming, South Dakota, West Virginia, New Hampshire and Ohio.
There are more searches containing “Trump” in all states than searches for “Clinton”, but some states are much more interested in Trump. Visitors from Hawaii are 327% more likely to search for Trump compared to Clinton, and California is 247% more likely.
