Parthenogenesis is a process of reproduction without the need for external fertilization, particularly in humans, where by women can self impregnate and conceive without the need of a male counterpart. Scientists have already been able to successfully create human embryos via artificial parthenogenesis. It can be done by means of a chemical solution or an electric charge. It is the charge or chemical composition of natural sperm that fertilizes the egg. In addition to the artificial methods of fertilization, women are believe to be able self impregnate if a strict process is follow.
Parthenogenesis in women is a topic rarely spoken of, although I do remember a number of occasions where parthenogenesis in women was the topic of discussion. Today I am reminded of that time after reading an article from MSN news about the marbled crayfish, which is had its origins in North America where its mother species, the Slough crayfish, was sold overseas to places like Germany as pets. For what ever reason the migration from North America to overseas lands had an evolutionary effect on the crayfish and spawned a totally different species (the marbled crayfish). The special thing about this new species is its ability to self-reproduce. More interesting is that fact that a change or evolution such as this would normally require a thousand years or more to happen but in this case it only took a few Decades.
Here lays the possibility to unearth more truth about the past and perhaps a clue into the future of humanity as a whole and possibly a way to save it. Jesus Christ is said to have been born of a virgin birth and parthenogenesis provides insight into the possible scientific proof of such event. So have many other revered saints. In cultures of old, stories of secret societal ceremonies to induce such virgin births were not non-existent. The methods used required the perfect candidate to be a female who would show outstanding abilities and if accepting of the role would be groomed from child hood to adult hood and taken through the rites. The resulting children from these types of births are looked upon as God sends.
A good search will find a lot of good information out there about parthenogenesis in the realm of scientific, theosophical, and theoretic categories. There are stories and surveys that shed light on the subject and you may be surprised at what you discover.
I will leave a few links for anyone interested in learning more. As science and technology and the interest in science and technology continues to increase, the bridge between the past, present, and future becomes more and more materialized.
