A new mural by enigmatic graffiti artist Banksy has appeared on a bridge in Hull.
The stencilled design – which shows a child carrying a wooden sword with a pencil attached to the end, under the text "Draw the raised bridge!" Pictures of the mural were shared on Banksy's official Instagram account on Friday, confirming that he was responsible for it.Situated on Scott Street in the Wincolmlee area of the city, the artwork has sparked a debate on Twitter, with many users speculating that it could be related to Brexit.
A number of people also suggested Hull's recent run as UK City of Culture may have inspired Banksy.
Last May, Banksy unveiled a mural in Dover that depicted a workman removing a star from the EU flag.
