So, I'm finally at New York. The city of dreams, the city of hopes. The city where millions go to fulfil the American Dream. New York is a mix of everything. You have the rich and the famous and fifth avenue and Wall Street and rows of beautiful buy expensive stores and then there is that alley with gangs and fights under the bridges and of course mugging. But New York is a dream, mugging or no mugging , you have to visit this city where the world lives.
Once in NYC, it felt like I was at the capital of the world. It felt like there were people from all corners of the world. Walking down Brooklyn, felt like being immersed in history. The graffites, the old homes, the streets and the people gave a vibe of being in an area where art had a different meaning. Brooklyn is the please where real art, uncorrupted is created.
Then of course, I had to take the subway, after the initially struggle of getting into the wrong trains and wrong stop, it was a pleasant ride. The subway was like none other in the world. I've been to Delhi metro, Bangkok subway, took subways at Germany and France and Washington . But oh no! New York, is where you see people create imprompt music, this is where fashion is created.
Oh and I of course did the touristy things like taking pictures with the Wall Street bull, taking a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty but the best was walking down fifth avenue and feeling like a million dollar.

Well, each to his own opinion
Have fun!! And I love NY..
So much to take in. Love the city
I think New York may be one of the very few places left (maybe along with London) where you truly feel like you are at the "crossroads of the world," in some way.
So true.
