Well I am so extremely proud of this team. Welcome to Nashville, Patriots.
Wow. I really had a bad feeling about this game for obvious reasons. Especially considering what happened in the playoffs last year. Also, I can still remember a game versus the Patriots a couple years ago when the Titans still had CJ2K, the Patriots beat the Titans like 59-10 or something terrible like that in the snow.
In no way shape or form can I with full honesty say I saw this win coming. I know this team had a chance as every team does. Every team has talent, every team is capable.
I know the Titans can be good. They have shown potential for two straight seasons but potential isn't really going to win a championship. Results will.
Even this season, despite wins against both competitors in the Superbowl (Eagles, Patriots) from last year and against the Jags who were very close to a Superbowl appearance last year (although I do recognize they are a lame 3-6 right now) the Titans had 3 straight losses at one point this year and only sit at 5-4 despite those solid wins.
Well enough of that negative-ish talk, let me be optimistic and maybe talk a little crap, who knows.
The Titans really dominated this Sunday. Every phase of the ball. The offense used every running back on the roster with solid success. Of course Mariota rushed a little bit as well. The team finished with 150 rushing yards in total versus the Patriots.
The defense was in Brady's face all game long, winning the battle at the line of scrimmage quite often.

The Titans have momentum that is for sure. Two straight very good wins. Really it's been 7 straight quarters of pretty solid football in all phases.
Marcus Mariota has been playing some of his best football of his career in recent weeks. Looking like a solid passer, and mobile as ever.
QB Marcus Mariota and WR Corey Davis have been really a sweet surprise this season for the offense. They seem to have pretty solid chemistry. Corey Davis finished with 7 catches for 125 yards and a TD.
The defense seems to be pretty good this year, in fact according to the points allowed per game statistics they are #1 in the NFL. In these past two games they've been particularly good. Just well coached guys that do their job.

I really can't say enough about how well this team has bounced back from 3-4 to be just a game behind the Texans.
A Texans team that they already beat this season with backup QB Blaine Gabbert playing in that game. Yeah. Hopefully they can duplicate that again with Marcus playing.

He went 16/24 on passes with 228 passing yards, 2 passing TDs, 0 picks.
He ran for 21 more yards on 2 carries. He also had 21 receiving yards on a trick play reception. Big smiles.
There's seven big games left though. The Titans have been pretty inconsistent in recent seasons, I just hope they can grow out of it and take the next step this season.
The Titans have a BIG divisional game against Andrew Luck and the Colts this week. Ugh I extremely dislike the Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Luck has been nothing but a pain in the Titans' side for way too long. I hope the Titans stay focused and don't rest on the big win from last week.
A big win for the Titans. A win as a fan I probably won't forget. It's not too common or easy to beat Tom Brady and Bill Belichick so damn I am pretty proud. #Titanup

For sure! He's playing with Confidence and just a lack of fear. While not having many turnovers recently. I hope he can keep this up without suffering an injury. Gosh I so proud of him recently. Him playing well is rewarding our solid defensive play.

Congrats! Their confidence level will be strong going forward. I think they'll beat the Colts. I love trick plays. Good article.
My co worker also said it should help their confidence, I sure hope you are both correct. I want better than 9-7 this season! Hahaha thanks man I certainly try to write decently. I just love being a fan of my team. Ugh yeah the dreaded Colts.. I believe we are starting to establish ourselves and should be able to beat the Colts. Those division rivals are always tough!
