Sterling Shepard was carted off the field, apparently, in tears this morning. This was the Giants first fully padded practice of the season. It is always a shame to lose a key player, let alone to lose a player in preseason and in practice.
Shepard had 65 receptions and 8 TD's last year in what was his rookie season.
I am praying that nothing is torn and that this will be a fast recovery.
Man injuries suck in the NFL on so many levels, for the team, fans, player, tv. These guys work so hard to get where they are and it can all be taken away in a second. At least the Giants are deep at that position this year.
