Hey and welcome How you today?

I’m great, just waking up.

**How did your crypto journey start? **

I received an email from Topps regarding some digital trading cards of Garbage Pail Kids. At that time, I had been collecting a lot of digital trading cards on the Topps apps for a couple of years. This email was my introduction to NFTs and cryptocurrency.

**Why did you start creating NFTs? **

My friend 2mex and I love collecting various items such as artwork, music and vinyl toys. 2mex is a well-respected rapper in the underground hip-hop scene in LA. I owned a small record label in the early 2000s. So we know whole bunch of musicians between the two of us. 2mex is always thinking of different ideas. He’s a very creative person. He had the idea of turning a bunch of rappers into trading cards, like baseball cards.

**Why was Wax blockchain the right blockchain for your project? **

The whole idea of our collection is digital trading cards, so The Wax Blockchain was perfect for our collection. People are able to trade their cards with no fees.

What's the idea behind the project?

The whole idea of our collection is independent hip hop trading cards. We thought it was a good way to educate people on a lot of amazing musicians that deserve to get some shine.

**What was your first NFT you dropped? **

If I remember correctly, our very first drop was just our logo maybe 100 copies.

**How did the community react? **

The reception was good. People liked the idea when they found our collection.

How many NFTs have you launched since?

We have 201 NFT templates on our collection and we have minted 330k NFTs since 4/19/2021 when our collection was started. That number blows my mind.

**How do you create your NFTs? **

We are a three member team. 2Mex and myself started the idea of the collection and we brought it to our buddy Awol One who’s is an amazing musician and artist. The three of us will get in a conference call and talk about the artist that we’re want to turn into a card. 2mex usually reaches out to them so we could see if they would be interested and AWOL is the one that does all the artwork. I am the guy that does all the actual minting of the NFTs and the day today running of the collection.

Do you use many programs?

I honestly don’t know that’s something that AWOL would have let you in on, but I’m pretty sure he uses multiple programs for the NFTs.

**What has been your favorite you have created? **

We did a collaboration with the Blockchain heroes collection, and I really love the NFTs that we did with them. We did an original song for them and it’s one of my favorite songs that we’ve done so far for the collection.

**Have you done any collabs yet? **

Another one of our early Collabs was with two collections We combined force for our love of pizza, art and music and created this masterpiece Pizza Boss Pizzeria Rusticana made the beat, Stocci did the artwork and we had Sully do the rap. I know I said before the Blockchain heroes collab was my favorite but honestly, this one is probably my favorite collaboration for sure.

**Who would be your dream collab? **

Love everything the taco team is doing so if we were able to make an original song for them and they made a NFT for us. I think that would be amazing collaboration.

**What's your favorite NFT project? **

That’s hard to say. The Wax collections are so different. I have a bunch of collections I like just for the artwork like cyber vandals and Skunky chunks but then there’s collections like the taco team that I don’t care for the artwork that much but I love everything they’re doing on the Wax block chain. if you’re took a look at my wallets, you would see I try to support everything in the Wax blockchain so honestly it’s hard to say I don’t think I really have a favorite.

**What is the long term plan for the project? **

We’re about to launch our series 2. That’ll be our second series of rapper based NFT cards. We’re looking into making our first series into physical cards. Then we have a couple plans for some more hip-hop based NFTs.

What has been the hardest part of the project?

Honestly, the hardest part for us is how long it takes to get our series together. It’s been over a year since our series one dropped and we’re barely gonna get ready to drop our series 2 it just takes a long time to get all the music for our NFTs. But I doubt series 3 will take as long because we’re more on top of what we need our artist in our collection to be aware of.

**What has been best part of doing the project? **

This whole collection is done for the love of music and artwork. I love the community that we built. That has got to be the best part for me, knowing that we have a strong community with us. Getting to reach out to all my old musician friends and getting to working with my team mates Awol and 2mex.

**Will you push your project onto other markets? **

We have no plans to move to any other chains as of now.

**If you could start a new NFT project what would it be based on? **

If I was to do another collection, it would probably be based off of graffiti or some kind of artwork. Maybe skateboarding I could see that also.

**What you like to do to unwind? **

I love video games so I find myself playing a bunch of games on my steam deck or playing poker. I’m also a big gambler, so you’ll find me with My Wife at the casino.

What does your family think of the project?

My wife doesn’t understand it really, but she knows it makes me happy. My oldest son will ask me. Are you still doing your NFTs dad but he’s not interested in them.

**When is the next drop? **

Our next drop is our series 2 of rapper based NFTs. It’ll be a pack with different rarities. If I remember, I think we have 16 different artists in the series. Each artist has five different variants, and each artist will have an original song on one of the variants.

**Where can we keep up with the project? **

The best place would be on our
