HACKERS Just Stole $2.2M Worth Of Bored Ape NFT'S From Art Collector.
According to reports, a collector was robbed of $2.2 million worth of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC).
Todd Kramer, the owner of the NFTs, called the incident "arguably the worst night" of his life. In addition, there are accusations that the NFT marketplace Opensea froze the collectibles, and crypto enthusiasts are expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of decentralisation.
An individual replied to ToddKramer’s Now tweet deleted. “Feels pretty anti-crypto to be asking third parties to do this and ideally they shouldn’t be able to. This was just extremely poor OPSEC on your part. True decentralized ownership no one should be able to step in. Good luck.”
