A Study In Patience

Hello Hive People!👋

This is my first post here and I just want to share this little project of mine with you. I am an artist on NFT Showroom and I set the goal for me to become the worst NFT-artist in the cyberspace. As you can tell it's more on the humorous side of things...So for the most part I specialise in badly drawn art. Chasing the simple the stupid and the imperfect.

This is a study in patience and my most experimental art project so far. It's also a challenge to myself. I created this art piece by continuously staring at it. 1 minute of my unbroken attention is contained in this piece. As an NFT you would basically buy that amout of my focused time and also know exactally how much time went into it. Right now I am at the 10 minute mark. I wonder how high I can go... my determination and patience isn't that high.😅

About my art in general:

I do this kind of art, mainly to reflect on myself since I tend to overthink a lot or strive for perfection but also to humor people and give them a good laugh. Looking for perfection in nature, in yourself or aroud you seems unrealistic can hold you back or waste time. So in all of my pieces I try to overcome my urge and just take it as it is.

My principles:

I am not always successful but I try to stay with my principles

-Use the easiest methods to creat my art (e.g. MSpaint)
-Put as little time as possible in each artwork
-Don't redo or work too long on a piece
-Stay true to the message of each piece (my current ones on NFT Showroom are a good example for that)
-Go with the flow
-Don't overthink
