Since I read Omega-3 in coconut oil is good for health, I started thinking about using coconut oil for chocolate spread. Then I made it! And it is made of quite minimal ingredients in little time, I must say 5 minutes. The ingredients are unsweetened cocoa powder, liquid sweetener such as agave syrup or maple syrup, and coconut oil. That's it.

It is amazing to see how much money some people are willing to spend on these things. Even up to a point that for me it was jaw dropping. I am more the person to buy stuff which has some kind of functionality. I don't get a thrill of owning a pair a Jordan's worn by the master himself of for instance a used tired from a F1 race. If you are such a person, it is hard to understand why people are investing/paying so much money for these things. While I can understand the value of sports memorabilia (what a word) better than a card collection. We all do have out passions I guess.

There are so many memories that come to my head, but there is a special one that originates others, which are the ones that make more noise in me reading this statement, because today is little contact I have with a group of friends who were part of a church choir in El Tejero, where I lived my childhood and part of my youth, I started in this choir about 17 years ago; We were a great family, I remember each of them, we shared many valuable and important moments for almost three years, then each of us took different paths, most of us left, some out of the country and others like me to the city, few remained in the village and in the church.

Recently, we had the opportunity of exploring La Union, the Philippines surfing capital of the North. We also visit Bahay na Bato, also known as Stone House, as part of our agenda. I was expecting an old, concrete, abandoned house when the tour guide mentioned the site, but what we came across was far more interesting.

Again, me telling you I work with a catering company that requires us to travel sometimes. Monday was the swearing in of The new president and governors which meant, parties! That is where we enter the scene. We first started with a mini-trip that lasted about 20 minutes away from the company. We catered to a wedding held at SYDE RESORT in Kaduna, Nigeria.

Less than two meters ahead we are presented with this beautiful specimen of unique plumage and characteristics that are easily recognized. Its ease demonstrates the daily proximity it has with visitors to "its home".

The date doesn't matter, only the story. And this is the story of a platonic love that was born in the heart of a child. Her name is not relevant, but the person who inspired it is: she was his older brother's girlfriend. The boy was only 8 or 9 years old when he met her, and although he knew it was a forbidden love, he felt attraction and affection for her. He watched from afar, stunned, as his heart beat a thousand beats an hour every time she appeared on the horizon. It was a childish anguish, still innocent, that barely showed in the sparkle of her eyes.

About a week ago my SIL and her husband visited us from San Francisco. They had planned a week of vacation in NYC and stayed with us for Sunday night and Monday before venturing into the city.Since we hadn't seen them personally in quite a few years we didn't want to do too much but rather talk. On the other hand, we also didn't want to just sit around the house, so we planned another little day trip. At least that was the intent but it was a bit cursed because:

In this post of mine, I will give you a tour to my small garden as promised in my last blog😅. I find this timely since the rainy season came early this year so I hope I could share some ideas about planting and what varieties of vegetables to plant and more.Without further ado, come in and welcome to the Grade 7 - section Earth class' garden! If you scan your eyes around you will notice that aside from vegetables, I have ornamental plants also. It is because of the integration of vegetable gardens and landscaping in schools which is referred to as "Edible Landscaping"😊!

I have a wondrous Monday. I traveled from one place to another, from mountains to beaches, and was blessed in my work. And in this blog, I'm going to share the wonderful experiences that are fully packed on this day together with my weekday companion, Bebe.I was coaching our oratorical contestant. Our rehearsal was in full swing last Wednesday and Thursday as we cannot practice on Friday due to class suspension because of the typhoon being worried by our country.
