Other Niche Communities Curation Report #1808

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1808th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Baked Sailfish Loin in Vegetable Sauce & (homemade) Coconut Milk :P

Now that I'm lucky enough to have a very affordable fresh fish delivery service, it's much easier for me to eat more fish and less of other meats, which is great if you ask me.

Unforgettable sumptuous dinner at Mr. Crab, Lapu-Lapu City

Hello, my good friends in this amazing community. How are you today? I hope you are all doing great. For today's blog, I will share another incredible story of food with my friends. I hope you will join me as I've shared my blog with you.

When we are exhausted, one thing we love to do is either go for a road trip - visiting beaches or nature or go with our friends and have a short meet-up over good food together. That's the basic things we always do to unload our burdens and blowing minds, to recharge for the next week to come.

Wednesday Walk-A Short Walk Again

This week, we have an activity to improve our work tasks. It is a week-long event that could drain my brain and body. Well, I think when your mind is busy for a whole day, all the parts of your body are still in use, and you feel tired because of the overuse of the brain. That’s what happened to me. For the three days of our work task, I felt drained and stressed despite having less to do in our task because my mind was functioning even though it was less. Yesterday, the task ended early, so my husband and I went home early, and I was able to do my task at home earlier than usual. We had a remaining time to stroll and unwind. So, I decided to have our dinner, we decided to go to Jollibee Bogo City. Usually, we order burger steak in Jollibee since for us, it is the only thing that differs from other fast food chains. In addition, their burger steak is affordable and right for its price.

Spectral | Film Review

The most fascinating thing about this film was the battle between human soldiers and ghosts—ghosts that were almost invincible. And it took the help of one dedicated scientist to even the playing field, sort of. But the film was more than just that.

My backyard garden is thriving!

As someone who goes to work eight hours a day, spending time with myself and engaging in activities I seldom do is an opportunity for me that I always cherish. Living alone has led me to be the better version of myself. I live and survive, all by myself. (But on weekends, I always go home to my real home - my parents.) I sleep, eat, cook, sing - alone and that's never boring. I always enjoy my me-time and being contented with being alone makes my heart happier. And every time I crave for food, I cook whatever fits my taste. Cooking has been one of the most enjoyable things I do. Cooking has also led me to backyard gardening. Whenever I wanted to cook veggies, I would just throw the seeds in my backyard and wait for a couple of weeks for their surprise. True enough, veggies have dominated my backyard.

Stashed Apple Walk

Stashed Apple Walk

Is it a shock that I forgot to finish up a post from a few weeks ago?! Not to me LOL

Apple picking season is one of my favorite for sure! There are so many physical and mental health benefits from this activity that it's no wonder I look forward to it so much!

I went apple picking with my son a few months ago at this point and it was a lot of fun, as it always is. I am also cherishing these times with him because I know each year he is going to grow up a little bit more each time we go. I can still pick him up and put him on my shoulders, but can I do that next year? It's hard to say, and would he even want to? Again, hard to say but I made sure to do it this year and really appreciate the time.

Growing as an entrepreneur in Venezuela - Creciendo como emprendedora en Venezuela

Entrepreneurship in Venezuela can feel like climbing a mountain without seeing the top. Often, we focus only on the success stories and forget all the effort, the falls and the learning behind each achievement. Today I want to share my personal experience, a path full of challenges, but also of constant growth.

🎵Music community. Sharing my musical arrangements for Venezuelan Traditional Orchestra #3. By: Guitarmcy

I had some time without showing my skills as an arranger, I am not the most disciplined with this musical branch, better said, I am not disciplined at all, I compose or arrange when I want to do it, but it is not something I do every day.
