It means more than fish to Nigerians its life mouth watering sweet and when combined with a bottle of beer or whiskey its a banger !!!!!!!!!
Today am going to be showing u how to prepare a nigerian Roasted fish also known as grill fish here is what you need.
Let's Cook!!!!!!!!!
Ingredient
1 Medium size tilapia
1 Red bell pepper
3 knots Cubes
2 Spring Rosemary
2 Spring thyme
Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon
1 Inch Root Ginger
1 Medium Onion
2 Tablespoons crushed pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Preparation
Firstly wash the fish thoroughly and make a deep incisions on the fish to allow deep penetration of marinade but i prefer mine cut into small Portion .
Blend The thyme, Rosemary, papper, Garlic, Olive oil and half onion till smooth...
Add the crushed papper Flakes and mix thoroughly Rub the half of the marinade on the fish and in the incision..cover the fish and put in a refrigerator for atleast 2hours.
While marinating the fish add bell pepper, the rest of the garlic and ginger into the blender and blend thoroughly. Then pour 1 cooking spoon oil into a pan, when its not add 1/2 chopped onion, then add the blended mixture and add knorr and salt to taste.
Fry for 15minutes on low heat with enough oil to enable the sauce fry well.
When the fish is done marinating...
Prepare your suya stand or barbecue machine
With heated charcoal for 5 minutes. Baste the fish with the fried pepper sauce..Then transfer the fish on the preheated suya stand..roast fish for 30-40 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
It's ready when its fully cooked on both sides. Serve with the rest of the fried pepper sauce...
