Let's say the truth, in the 80s and 90s, Deeper Life was the poorest church in Nigeria. We were poor, but all the Deeper Life people I knew were poorer. Every church had a marker, Cele na White garment church, but Deeper Life was the 'No TV church'. What I simply deduced was that, the members couldn't naturally afford TVs, so, the founder made it a doctrine. That way, it would be justified. If you visit your poor neighbour and he didn't have a TV, you just automatically know he's a Deeper Lifer. Even some poor Muslims will claim Deeper Life as dem no get TV. This same Deeper Life has opened a multi-billion dollar edifice with LED TVs and mega screens everywhere.
Brethren, praiiiiiissssseeee Master Jezes!!!
