FB_IMG_1516359399127.jpgAs they moved closer to us i drifted backwards as the rest of the passengers followed suit. The man who was eating egg and groundnut earlier was so scared that he fell into a pothole on the road. .I felt my trousers and it was wet, i was that scared .

Then i took a closer look at them and i heard recognizable voices, i smiled and heaved a sigh of relief.

"Obinna, Alex, ogbonna, wetin una de do for this place na" i asked.
"Oboy our motor spoil for road too, " Obinna pointed a torch towards the direction of their bus. He always carried a torch with him everywhere he went so this was no surprise to anyone ..

"i bin de fear when una bin de waka come oh,i feel say na Armed robbers" I said, still trying to compose myself..

"Armed robbers ke, as our car spoil na it we enter bush go shit, as we de comot motor flash light for una bus, you know say i get bat eye, i tell them say na u dem de argue " Obinna said .

The other passengers were relieved too when they heard the four young men conversing, with the recent killings in the country, one would be Mad not to be scared.
"wetin do una motor? "Alex asked.
"our driver say na oil finish oh abi e de leak"I said trying to hide my already wet trousers.

A voice called out from distance to the boys that their own car had been fixed and that they should come so the journey can continue..

They waved me goodbye and ran to their bus while we were still stranded...

By now, people had started raining curses on the driver, one even called him an impotent baboon, i was wondering how such a name was going to stop our oil from leaking or even give us oil..

The Bus carrying my friends drove and came to a halt in front of us, The driver, a tall dark handsome man with a kind face shook hands with our driver who by now looked like a rape victim as he explained everything to him.

The kind driver brought out his tools and helped us out and even gave us extra oil incase we had another drain. We thanked him so much and one of the Passengers even offered him 2k which he declined, according to him, if we get paid for every act of kindness we do, then we haven't done anything, with that statement, he zoomed off and wished us a blissful journey..
We proceeded on our Journey and i was visibly tired, ny eyes were heavy and hunger had surfaced again.

"who piss for this motor na, the whole place the smell like goat house" one woman said.
I knew it was me, but i kept my composure and didn't look at anybody's face.I was doing fine until Aunty asked me to carry little Man for her so she could get something from her bag, I placed him on my chest and then i felt something rolling through my body, little Man just did it, he excreted all over my body..

The mother looked at me and felt sorry for me, his excreta oozed so bad for a child his age. The whole bus smelt like a poultry farm..

We finally got to Lagos at about 1am and i was greeted by the sights and sounds of the city, everywhere was still buzzing and i noticed some people were just bringing out their wares to start selling.

"At 1am?" i said to myself, no wonder they said "Lagos never sleeps..
Egbeda, that's where Abdul stays,he asked me to call when i got to Lagos so he could come pick me from the Park as i didn't know anywhere .

The Woman with the child waved me goodbye and i waved her too, i had managed to use sachet water to wipe the shit off my shirt.
I held my bag in my hand, removed my phone from my pocket, just as i was about to dial his number, i felt a heavy blow on my neck, i was dazed and fell to the ground..

When i woke up, i couldn't find my phone or my bag, and in my Bag contained all my credentials and the little money that was given to me. Passersby looked at me and shook their heads, i shouted and screamed but no one even paid attention to me.
Where am i going to go from here? Who send me come Lagos!!
