STEEMIT IN NIGERIA - (MY VIEW)

in #nigeria7 years ago

It has always been in my mind to go for African Jungle Safari, and so Law of Attraction which states that “positive thought and requesting the heart's desire will cause those things to manifest in your life,” worked for me. So with one click on the Telegram link of a Nigerian community it changed everything for me, from the mediocre thinking of earning, I started my steemit journey.

The Beginning

I am an INDIAN, who is part of a Nigerian community on steemit. Initially, after registration on steemit, I just followed people as per the instructions of admins on the telegram group headed by @dreamchasser. I was very reluctant to write.

I started out with posts of only three or four lines, with a good picture. These lines increased day by day, and I realized that as long as you understood the thought of what to post, then there was no need to worry about anything.

I have a firm foundation on steemit with the help of the Nigerian community and their guidance, assistance, support, respect and love. I have grown fond of Nigerians through the friendship and association I have built with them.

My Support

I support the Steemit in Nigeria (S.I.N) initiative because I believe it would help boost Nigerian participation on the steemit platform and help to create a paying and earning opportunity for many creative Nigerians in the country.

Reaching a milestone of 1000+ followers and a reputation of 51 within three months on steemit is a great feeling. I would have loved to be part of the Steemit in Nigeria event if I was presently in Nigeria, but I’m presently in India and won’t be in Africa by that November. I travel a lot and I hope to visit Nigeria someday soon.

Benefit?

The Steemit in Nigeria (S.I.N) initiative by the Nigerian curators can be emulated by other cultures and communities like any of my Indian community. S.I.N can be an inspiration to other Indian communities on steemit too.

There is no disunion between Nigeria and India. In our Inner Chamber Telegram group, we have similar beliefs and values like compassion, trust, respect, and love. Sadly in today’s world, lots of people have forgotten the true natural human values and what it actually means to be human.

This is a small world. For me, if only we could follow similar belief systems in the real world, earth would be a better place to live in, and there would be no opportunity for terrorism and racism.

What the S.I.N can achieve?

The steemit mental revolution and sensitization being brought about by the S.I.N Conference is worthy of emulation by other nations and communities represented on steemit.

I have people in my Nigerian Telegram community who really care and love me, and that is one of the reason I stayed, other than the financial rewards.

This is a social media technology where we can have freedom of expression, and getting paid with the virtual currency which can be turned to real cash, is a massive plus in terms of creating a legitimate financial earning scheme for people. My English isn’t good and also I am not a writer. I learned how to write when I joined steemit. Even till now, I don’t have so much confidence in writing, but the message I got from the people here, is moving and it helps me stay motivated to write something and help the community even in the smallest possible way.

This is just my small attempt with this post, to help with the fund generation and publicity scheme of the organizers of the Steemit in Nigeria group, headed by @ehiboss, and to show that I fully support the Steemit in Nigeria (S.I.N) Initiative.

Being Optimistic

I sincerely hope other communities can take a look at the efforts put by the Nigeria community to foster unity among themselves, and to push Steemit and it’s amazing importance and potential benefits to every nook and cranny of Nigeria.

For Donations?

For donations towards the Steemit in Nigeria (S.I.N) Conference, kindly send donations to the main collection account @leadent360, for proceeds towards a successful organization of the event.

Thank you, for your support for The Steemitdotcom/Airhawk-project Nigerian Community whom I have grown to become a part of, and for the organizers of the S.I.N conference headed by @ehiboss.

All SBD generated from this post would go to the account collecting donations for the organization of the event, @leadent360.
