Culture like no other, my heritage,My pride,..my story in this regards...

Over the years, when ever this season comes (Christmas ) I just get so excited and people keep wondering why??

The only person that could solve this puzzle was me ever since I was a child. My mum would worry over what to buy for me just to make me happy, likewise my dad, because I was loved by them

My dad would call me to his room with lots of options for me to choose and all I did was to say nothing, repeatedly he will ask my siblings as well respectively and they all had what would be best for them.

I had an uncle that I was equally close to, and I was comfortable telling him what I needed, and he will inturne tell my dad...

Guess what I told my uncle I needed..lol..😁😁
An ekpe sculpture (calabar mascurade)

No one knew how excited I could be in just having that let alone seeing it life. With a sigh of relief, I left after talking to my uncle about my desire...

Surprisingly, my dad bought me the ekpe sculpture, I smiled with all the musels in me my dad could feel it inside of me...
Unknown to me my dad had plans of taking me alone with him just to witness the calabar ekpe mascurade..
One of the Christmas season he did that without telling me where we were up to...
I could go on and on!!
I was so excited I watched the play all day long, and till date I don’t miss out on dat

The link below is de short clip I had to video in this past Christmas season, I thought I should share for the lovers of culture...
