When looking at the current situation of Nigeria for the past two weeks or so, we will realise that it is not something to reckon with.
The mass killing in Benue State by the Fulani herdmen and the recent raid of the so call Yahoo boys(internet fraudsters) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. When looking at these situation, most especially the activities of the EFCC, to me it is inhuman because there are many politician who embezzle Nigerian fund, I mean the money meant for the whole nation.
Am not supporting the activities of the so call internet fraudster but what is our politicians, i mean those leading us doing to curb or to empower youths in other to lead them to the right part or to the work our so call leaders refers to as legit.
I think the EFCC should focus on arresting our leaders who has turn the government pulse to their personal belongings because how come a senator with have more than ten(10) cars in his compound and each car worth more than Ten million naira(#10,000,000). Is it their salaries they use to buy all these cars?.
I think the country should focus on creating jobs for the youths but not just works with low salaries but with minimum wages of fifty thousand naira(#50,000) and above. With this, no youth will have a reason to embrace fraud.
The government should also deal with the killing that is happening in northern part of the country and not chasing after those that unemployment and poverty leads to fraud.
I think the government are the problems the youths are facing. Dear government, why dont you solve the bigger problems first.
Another problem that has not surface or that has not become a national issue is the willingness of youths engaging in the abuse of drugs. If those that engage in drug abuse were ask the reason for their willingness to get high by drugs, their reply will be because of the situation of the state in terms of depression and poverty caused by our leaders...
