Please what i am about to talk about is my own opinion ... Like they say everybody is entittled to his/her opinion

Please i am here to talk about Nigeria Universities...What i am about to say also apply to other countries....so please do not see this post as just upvoting post because of it content ...but please i want you all to bring out your opinion too.......thank God steemit made the site user interactive....so please after ur upvote comment ,,as i will reply every body...

As far i am concern Nigeria is a great country in the entire world,,

please dont be jeolous

you can say that about your country too But the university system of Nigeria is failing...I am citing example with myself,,,

I went to DELSU which is DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY

And i studied ACCOUNTING,for good 4 years of my life...reading different types of text books,,GST 101, COST ACCOUNTING ETC all with just theories and no practical experiences.....

I graduated with good result with a big hope that after serving my fathers land NIGERIA,work will be waiting for me when i apply for one.....

So i finished my service at OSUN STATE of NIGERIA.....

i joined the ROAD SAFETY CDS of Nigeria

.....thinking i may probably work as a road safety officers .....for where odio-di..now i have stayed at home for some years..before going to school i had concrete passion to become a designer tailor,,,,but i never learn the skill because i cant mix but school and learning tailoring....

Long story short....

I know many graduate who are selling onions at ogbe-gonogo market in asaba.....

Our government are trying though but need to be done.....

So my decision is that if i give birth today ...maybe a boy and i found out that from his infant he have a very strong passion in playing football ....i will gege(just) focus 60% on his passion and 40% on his education.......instead wasting time on nothing with out practical.....passion is a key thing.........bill gate was a drop out......founder of facebook did facebook as experiment,,,,,,maybe @ned too......but today look at them ......please i am not saying education is not good.....but focus too on your sons/daugthers passion and develop them strong plus education....if i am right please comment.....thanks
