Hey guys
Being on steemit for quite some time now
Steemit is a platform that promote value ( i.e quality posts)
You add and support value (i.e blog and upvote), then you earn from it.
But there is an irony in the community
Sometimes, quality post don't get to earn much
While some lesser post, earns so much
Sometimes, the number of voters outweigh the number of viewers
Some even pay/subscribe to whales and robots who upvote their post automatically.
This has discourage content creator (Author) from making quality posts
Some has resolved to post anything and then use other means to upvote it rather than adding value.
As steemians, whats your take on this, looking at the present and future of steemit and the society at large?
I think adding value is more important than earning big, we should vote quality post and promote originality
Excellence should never be sacrificed on the altar of mediocrity, as steemians, we should always look out for the best content and promote that.
The early days of steemit was much worse as there weren't many people who held steem, therefore there were only a hand full of people who got voted on. A lot more people have larger amounts of steem and a lot more people are getting something now for what they post. We are still in the early days of steemit and this means that there is still a lot of growth needed, things are starting to get better. Only time will tell where things will head.

This issue has discouraged many steemians because the aspect of creating quality content on a long run isn't the idea again, is more like writing anything to make money rather than adding value before it can be compensated for. We should look up for quality. That will move this community forward.

STOPIn our society today the most important thing are less regarded as the are seen as not making sense, adding value to life is way important than been rich if u are rich and you have not added to the growth of you immediate enviroment then you are still broke...... Today its all about the money,value comes later
Awesome observation, sometimes when you consider all these, you're not even encouraged to spend quality time in developing something appealing.
But in all, the main thing is what's the way forward!
How do we earn much on our posts the little we can??
Good Content should be rewarded, I think
I once saw a steemit slogan that says, "Come for the reward, stay for the community". The both works hand in hand... It is really good when a good content earns well, it encourages steemians and brings more growth to the community. I am very certain a time will come when the community has grown more than where it is today, we wouldn't have the challenge about post earning! ☺

For steemit i think its quality before steem quantity
Steemit is a deregulated platform with less strict rules. Somethings should just be overlook for now as we cannot single-handedly control it. You just gotta do your thing and preach the little you can.
Yes render your bit to this community but I for one favour qualitative content
