The true darkness in life is willfully doing wrong. Trials, temptations, challenges, adversities, and other difficult times may be moments of darkness, but they are all darkness of light not true darkness. They are all darkness that is designed to lead us to light.
Whenever you see yourself in these unpleasant situations, face it and call it darkness of light. Press forward with hope for a brighter future. "Light is not light if it proceeded from light because it can not shine"
Light will only shine if it proceeds from darkness.
There is actually no short cut to success in life. Do what is right always and avoid the darkness of willfull unrighteousness.
The only darkness I know is
- lack of perseverance or giving up because of challenges.
- willfully doing wrong.
This is like switching off a shining light in a darkness, the end of it is a thick darkness. That is the true darkness.
