Help the poor, new job much?

The alarming rate of beggars on the streets are crazy!!!!

Someone said and I quote “it’s better to stay in Nigeria, your country and beg, than struggle to travel out and be stranded or struggle to live there”. Wait, whattttttttt???? Just wow!

I want to un-hear, un-read, un-see and un-everything about this statement. Phew 😮‍💨

Hey there, it’s steph from Hive!
From my previous post, if you haven’t read it please go back and read it so you’ll know a little about me🙈, also don’t forget to vote my post and follow me please…T for thanks, I did mention that I live in Kaduna state. Now if you’ve been to Kaduna or you also live here, you’d know that you cannot go 1 meter without a bunch of children or beggar(s) approaching you. Some will even walk with you (if you’re walking) for some distance, whether or not you wave them off, I actually get pissed and irritated when they follow me. This is so bad that a signboard was even put up at a popular roundabout, Station Roundabout, saying “no begging allowed”.
Lol, quite funny and sad.

Which brings me to one of the points I’d like to discuss. I saw an image with a text that says “I will never understand why people that are struggling still have children”. Haew, ~conji na bastard sha~ in this case even people that are poor to the stupor still have children, like how? Why? I can only bring it down to “konji” because it makes no sense to me.
This pains me so much because these children are just rendered useless by their parent, omd that’s like the most bizarre thing to do.
One thing I’ve always told myself is that, no matter how wealthy I become in the future, I will not have more than 3 children. In fact the 3rd might even be a mistake, I’ve said this and I mean it. Nothing can change my mind about this because I see homeless kids and it breaks my heart terribly I cannot believe parent would do that, unless those that dies or died. God rest their soul(s).

My other point is the mentality of staying in Nigeria to beg. That’s like an awful 2-0. Staying in Nigeria is terrible as an average or struggling and worse, poor person then imagine adding “begging” to your stay if you fall under one of these category. I’m still trying to understand what was going through the persons mind when she/he dropped that statement.
I’m a student of Veritas University Abuja and despite the fact that I have my parent, God continue to bless them, that take very good care of me and fund me for school and all, I would always choose going outside Nigeria to struggle than be here and beg, God forbid bad thing, but a reasonable amount of that depends on the country I’ll be going out to.
Why will you choose staying in Nigeria, your country to beg? Is begging now a kind of new job here? Where you beg and get paid at the end of the month?
Most of us don’t understand how it works outside Nigeria, even I don’t totally understand but with my little knowledge and my life experience of being a Nigerian living in Nigeria, I am ready for a change that bad.

I watched a YouTube video of a lady doing a survey question, asking people what they like and dislike about Nigeria;

majority of the people interviewed said they liked nothing about Nigeria, I mean, what exactly is here to like in this country??? Only the rich might like here.
Uhm, well I like Nigerian food lol I can’t lie, but that’s all o, mttchwww.

No light
Bad road
No infrastructure
No job
Everything is going to sh*t
I could go on and on

It’s really frustrating when you sit and think about the bad of this country. Yes, there might be some good or even a lot but there are much more bad than good and statistically speaking, from my point of view, the bad is like 3 times the good. That’s just too overshadowing and when something is weighed and overshadowed like that, the bigger one is just the situation. In other words “Nigeria is a bad country to live, much more beg, I’d rather travel out and struggle”
