Yegor Okhotnikov, Nimses: After the launch of the Goods, users will understand that the nimes are not some kind of candy wrappers

Nimses - perhaps, the most mysterious Ukrainian start-up in the whole history. Today, the geolocation community has more than 3 million users, many of whom still do not understand what is happening here, but just in case accumulate nimes - virtual currency, for which, as the developers promised, it will be possible to buy real goods and services soon. It is only necessary to wait for the launch of Nimses Goods - an internal store in the application, which was supposed to be launched in July.

Previously, we talked about what Nimses is and who invented to monetize the network time spent by a person in real life. And today we talked with Nemses spokesman Yegor Okhotnikov who told AIN.UA when Nimses Goods will start up, how this service will work and what surprises the Nimses mysterious social network prepares for its users.

When is Nimses Goods launched? And how many partners will you have?
I really hope that in the coming days. On Friday and weekends we are setting up a marathon, waiting for the latest update on iOS and then opening up. So far only in Kiev, because before the global launch we want to work out and test all our functionality.

I will not say the exact number of partners - more than 50. This will be a beta launch. We are not started with all the features at once, but for now only with the basic functionality. First we want to test it for 200,000 users in Kiev to see how this will work from the UX point of view, also from the point of view of the companies, to what extent they will be comfortable with our functionality and those tools of interaction with the user that we offer.

When we receive a feedback, we will make sure that everything is cool and bring everything to mind - then we will start already on other cities and the world, to improve the targeting opportunities for companies.

Why did this hitch occur? Initially, Nimses announced the launch of the Goods in June, but already in August ...
We did not expect such rapid growth and such virality. Now we have an audience of more than 3 million. Such growth led to several technical issues that we had to solve before launching the Goods. Only the support of the service for 3 million people required significant improvements - crossings, additional servers, everything.

Also we had some problems with spam, SMS-gateways were falling due to the influx of new registrations and others.

And what kind of spam?
The most different, from advertising some kind of sneakers, to prostitutes. But on them we have finally put an end to it. Spam no longer gets divorced. To do this, we had to greatly improve the precautionary measures. The bottom line is that Facebook, Instagram and other social networks give access to their API so that users can write some programs that perform certain sequential actions. We also had users who decided to abuse this, and we had to limit their ability to creep into our application with the help of programs.

What will Nimses Goods look like? How will the interaction between the user and the company occur?
On the user's side, everything will be as simple as possible. In the application, the user enters the Nimses Goods section and sees all the goods and services offered to him by companies nearby (within a radius of 15 km). That is, for each user a proposal pool based on geolocation is formed. Later we will add ranking systems to offer the user exactly those products in which he is most interested.

The user clicks on the offer, can read the description of the product or service, can go to the store page, contact him or go to the site, see his profile on social networks. Can find out what points this store has all over Kiev, what other products does this store offer, etc.

When a user has decided on a product or service, he presses "Buy" and receives a check with the code. Important: one unique user can buy one store offer in 24 hours (this is a technical limit for the test period). After buying nima from the user's account are transferred to the account of the store.

Then he comes to this store or institution, calls the cashier code, and if this code matches the code that is available in the institution's system, the transaction is completed and the user is given a purchase. Important: the code is valid for 24 hours from the date of purchase, after the expiration of the check, the code can not be activated.

And how does this process look on the trafficker's side?
For sellers, we have a web interface - a page on our website. We decided that for large companies that want to place a lot of goods, it will be more convenient to do this from the computer than in the application.

The company creates in this web interface a page of a store or institution, adds a description: site, contacts, address. If it is, for example, a network of coffee houses, you can specify several addresses of institutions - the number is not limited. Then for each of these coffee houses you can add goods or services that the point offers.

Each proposal is supplemented with description, photos, cost, quantity of goods that the point wants to offer. A little later you can choose to target by gender, age, material situation and so on.

There can be many trade points

Like offers (goods or services that a trader sells)

The buyer can only become a user with the status of "Man"
What partners are you targeting: big business, small business? Will there be an opportunity for users to sell something on the platform, like, say, OLX?
This is all kinds of business (small, medium, large). We create a tool that will be convenient for everyone.

In the Goods now only companies and brands will fall. For users who want to sell their personal belongings, we have another solution. But I will not talk about him now.

How can you further determine which products are relevant to the user? What information do you have for this?
At the moment we have the information that users provide themselves: gender, age, geolocation. Based on only these data, we can make a fairly serious portrait of the user. The same age allows you to determine whether a person works or is studying, a student or a student. Sex allows companies, for example, clothing brands, to target offers to women or men.

Geolocation provides an opportunity to understand in which area the user lives. Institutions, for example, are interested in focusing on a regular audience, that is, people who live nearby and will visit more often. Plus geolocation allows us to calculate the estimated level of the user's income. To understand, he moves by car or public transport, a personal car or taxi.

Based on only this basic functionality, we will be able to add different opportunities for companies.

What are the advantages for sellers to cooperate with Nimses?
At the moment, the most important advantage is advertising. You can say that this is free traffic, which neither Google nor Facebook provides. All Nimses users, but only in Kiev it's about 200 000 people, will be able to find out about this company and see what products it offers. Even if the user is not verified and can not make purchases for the company, he will still see these offers and then he can come to the store or the institution and buy there what he wants for the hryvnia.

Already today we understand that the Nimses Goods screen will be the most viewed screen in our application. There now hangs a screensaver, but we understand that when we open access, a huge number of people will immediately fall down there.

In addition, even when all the offers that the company added to the Nimses Goods, they will buy out, for example, 20 cups of coffee, they will hang for a while in the section and they will be seen by the users. This is an additional advertisement even after the goods have run out.

We have a huge audience, and our first partners in the Nimses Goods will receive huge coverage and brand awareness. They will start talking about their brand, they will begin to share in the application, social networks, and skepticism, with which many users now regard the opportunity to buy something for them, it will go away.

Can companies get something for earned nimes?
Yes. In addition to Nimses Goods, we have Nimses Ads in our development right now - the ability to run ads inside the application. That is, for those that the company will earn on its goods and services, it will then be able to purchase additional advertising inside the Nimses application. For example, expose additional products or raise their proposals higher in the issuance tape. Pay for video and banner ads in the Nimses stream.

In addition, in the future, the company will be able to transfer these accounts to the account of users, and they, in turn, will be able to buy goods and services in Goods for these nimes. Imagine that you are the owner of the establishment, you decided to sell salads for nimes. All these nimes are at the expense of your company. And in the future you will be able to transfer them to your personal account in order to buy other goods and services offered by the Goods for these nimas. Or, for example, pay these nimas to their employees as a bonus to the salary.

How did you determine the cost of nim? Based on what you set the approximate rate of $ 1 for 1000 nimes and can this course change?
Given that this is our forecast, it's clear that it can change. It is difficult for us to predict the course of something for six months ahead.

At us inside of a command there were disputes about, it is necessary to publish this forecast or it is not necessary. But in a sense, it gives users an opportunity to understand the value of the nima. Now, even though this figure is in the application, users do not understand what it is and how valuable it is. They do not have an understanding: one thousand nimes is a lot or a little? Or a million. What can I afford for these nimes?

After the launch of the Nimses Goods, from the moment the market has already formed there - supply and demand, pricing policy in the nima - then users will already understand how valuable this is. If they have half a million nimes, they will understand that these are not just some wrappers, but for them one can get real material goods.

Will you somehow control the prices that will be exhibiting companies in the Nimses Goods at first?
At the initial stage, we will recommend companies an approximate price, because at the moment they may not yet understand the value of nim, just like ordinary users. As a result, a book and a piece of jewelry can cost the same. It's a bit strange…

But I think, after the launch of Nimses Goods, the prices will quickly settle down, an internal NIMA course will be formed in the application, and there will be no such cases any more.

Some companies even before the launch of the Nimses Goods began offering goods and services for the company. What do you think about it?
We created Nimses, which everyone now sees and knows, and by themselves began to appear people who believed in the application and began to use it for advertising purposes. Such appeared in early June.

This is against our rules, but they still do it. Now we invite all these people to the Nimses Goods - it will be profitable for them themselves. Because now, by offering goods and services for their services, they can not choose an audience. And in Nimses Goods they can make their offers more targeted.

It seems to me that this is very correct for advertising. This is not a billboard, by which all just pass, or advertising on TV, which can be switched.

I understand correctly, for companies entering the Nimses Goods is free? That is, they are registered and can immediately begin to expose their proposals?
Yes, companies pay absolutely nothing for this.

Then I would like to understand what Nimses plans to earn.
In 2018, we are going to launch the Nimses Exchange. This will be a platform on which some companies will be able to buy nimes for real money, while others will sell. Consider this to be a stock exchange.

Given that for companies Nimses - is primarily an advertising tool, and advertising in Nimses can only be paid by nimami, we thus create a demand for nimas. Companies will be interested in buying these nimes from each other.

Will you take interest from transactions?
We will talk about this in the fall.

Does the launch of the exchange mean that we can change money for money and withdraw it?
The exchange will be launched in 2018. Until then, users will receive answers to most of the questions.

In addition to Nimses Goods, you also announced the music service Nimses Music. Is there an approximate launch date?
I do not want to say anything about the terms so that it does not work out like with Nimses Goods 🙂 Here we also stop now for technical reasons.

There will be a monthly subscription for 27,000 nimes, which will give unlimited access to a huge music library. Probably one of the largest in the world. This will be the world's first music service, where you can listen to legal music for minutes of your life. Users will not have to pay a penny.

In Nimses launched the first wave of user verification. Did it help with the bot-activity in the application and when should we wait for the second wave?
One of our goals is to ensure that Nimses has only live people and one person has only one account. This is the rule that underlies the project. This is what gives the nimes the value that we aspire to. If we manage to achieve this, then one will truly be equal to one minute of the life of one person. Thus, the number of nimes, as the same bitcoins, will be limited - the lifetime of a person.

To make sure that all our users are really living people, we will enter an additional verification phase, but I will not talk about it yet.

And what at the very end is waiting for users who will not be able to verify themselves? Are they banned?
They will have limited functionality, they will not be able to buy anything for the company. I think that after the launch of the Nimses Goods they will have a huge incentive to go through it.

Initially Nimses works only in the CIS countries. Are there plans to go to Europe, America, Asia?
In fact, last night (from 1 to 2 August - Ed.), We have opened access to our application in 70 countries. This is completely the whole of Europe, and also the North and South America.

Prior to this, the main part of our audience was from 12-13 countries: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, the Baltic countries. Most users, of course, in the cities with a population of one million: Kiev, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk.

Have you made localization for each of these countries?
Today we have the languages of all the countries of Europe. The interface language in the application is determined automatically, depending on which language is defined in the phone settings. If there is a language installed, which we do not yet support, then by default Nimses will be in English. Let's say, in China, because we do not yet have localization in Chinese.

How did users' involvement in the platform change from the moment of launch to the peak period when the HYIP was raised around you, and until today?
It all started on June 1, when they started talking about us. And then the users had euphoria, changes in consciousness, they were very interesting, because in Nimses everything was a novelty, such nowhere before it was. It's clear, they began to actively share, invite friends, pass on nimes to each other, experiment.

When they mastered the basic functionality, the excitement was asleep, they calmed down and are now waiting for the launch of additional features. We really delayed this, unfortunately. The last few weeks, we see that users are already losing patience, write to us in support, they say, well, when will you open the Nimses Goods? 🙂

Can you describe the portrait of Nimses?
Honestly, it's complicated. They are people from 16 to 32 years old, mostly residents of the post-Soviet space, both boys and girls. More precisely, I can not.

And who are the "angels" of Nimses? And how do they differ from the average user?
The bottom line is that we give each user a nim for which he can get something: eat, dress, and so on. Angels are people who do something very, very cool - dancers, athletes, artists, poets. They live this business.

By giving such people the status of an angel, we want to draw attention to them and enable them to do what they do without hovering about money. Encourage other users to see the fruits of their work, send them more nimes, so that they do not have to work as a cashier in a store and they could devote themselves completely to their favorite business.

How do you give out the statuses of angels?
We find them in completely different ways - each has its own story. It can be people that no one knows about. We communicate with such a person, we understand if we are in agreement with him. Sometimes, we happen to find some person, we see that he is doing something very cool, and he becomes an angel.
