Nintendo Switch - The Love Child of Console Gaming and Portable Gaming

Nintendo released the first official trailer for its new console, Nintendo Switch, in mid-October 2016.

Nintendo Switch will allow console level gaming to detach and become portable/mobile.

This feature alone has the gaming community going wild with excitement. Traditional consoles are limited to a location where a TV, power, and Internet (for online play) are available. The sheer size of consoles and need to plug in to a power source make portability and mobility very limited. With the Nintendo Switch, we see that its large tablet-like screen and detachable controllers allow the gamer to play pretty much anywhere, very easily...in a car, at the airport, on an airplane, etc.

With the explosive success of Pokemon Go, and the exciting innovations of the Nintendo Switch, we could be seeing Nintendo enter into a new cycle of prosperity.

Still, several questions remain about Nintendo Switch regarding graphics, technical details, performance, continuing third party support, user gameplay experience, and more.

Regardless of the uncertainties, I Am very excited to be able to play a much higher level and quality of games on the go with the detachable controller and portable tablet screen.
